What's the outbound MCP server?

1 min

Expose Avery agents + capabilities to external MCP hosts (Claude Desktop, Cursor, …) over a localhost HTTP endpoint.

When you enable Settings → AI → MCP Server, Avery exposes itself as a Streamable HTTP MCP server at http://127.0.0.1:19274/mcp. External hosts you point at it can list Avery tools, call your agents, and read recent runs / activity / KB sources — bounded by an opt-in allow-list you control. Loopback-only: only this machine can reach it without an explicit tunnel you set up yourself. Bearer-gated: every request needs the token shown after enabling. Two sibling tabs, easy to mix up: 'MCP Server' (this one — Avery IS the server, external apps connect in) vs 'MCP Clients' (Avery is the client, connecting OUT to third-party MCP servers so your agents can call their tools).
