Open an existing Next.js project

1 min · 3 steps

Already have a Next.js project on disk? Avery can manage + extend it.

Pointing Avery at an existing Next.js folder lets you run it through the desktop, schedule deploys, and add generator plugins to it.

Steps

  1. Click 'Import existing app'.

Or press Cmd+O. A folder picker opens.

  2. Pick the project root.

The folder containing `package.json` and `next.config.js` (or `.ts`).

  3. Avery probes the project.

Detects framework, package manager, dependencies. The project appears as a card on this page.
