Create your first agent

3 min · 4 steps

Describe what you want in one paragraph, the wizard builds the graph.

The agent wizard reads your prose, picks each step from a closed catalog of node kinds, binds providers from your configured connections, and produces a converged plan you can review before generating. Most agents take 30-60 seconds to plan.

Steps

  1. Click 'New Agent'.

    Top-right of the Agents page.

  2. Pick a path.

The wizard opens on a chooser. 'Build Manually' takes you straight to the Builder with a blank graph — you fill in name + avatar + tagline + trigger first. 'Prompt with Cloud AI Consult' is the AI path — a frontier reasoning model designs the full agent in one shot. The AI Consult card is disabled until you've configured Cloud AI Consult in Settings → AI → Model (Pro tier required).

  3. (AI Consult path) Write a clear description.

Be specific about the trigger ('every morning at 8am'), the data source ('my Outlook unread emails'), the work ('summarize key points, identify time-sensitive items'), and the output ('email me the summary'). The model has the full list of available node kinds + your configured connectors in its system prompt, so name the SaaS tools you want by name.

  4. Click 'Generate Agent'.

The reasoning model designs the entire agent in one call — picking nodes, wiring edges, writing each node's configuration. You'll see the reasoning stream as it works. If anything needs disambiguation, the model asks you in an overlay (multiple-choice with an 'Other' free-text option). When it's done, the agent opens in the Builder. Cloud AI Consult is BUILD-time only — at runtime your agent uses whatever AI Routing Mode you picked in Settings.
